Grech RV, a manufacturer of luxury Class B Mercedes-Benz Sprinter camper vans, has launched VACANZA-ion, a new mid-level luxury Class B camper van designed to broaden the company’s Mercedes-Benz Sprinter lineup.
The model debuted at the Grech RV Experience in Tampa, Florida, an event showcasing the company’s craftsmanship, technology, and customer-focused service.
VACANZA-ion targets buyers seeking high-quality engineering and advanced features without the cost of Grech RV’s ultra-premium models.
Built on the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter all-wheel-drive platform, the van emphasizes simplified luxury, focusing on essential amenities, premium materials, and efficient space utilization.
“VACANZA-ion represents a strategic expansion of the Grech RV portfolio,” A.J. Thurber, vice president of Grech Motors, said in a press release.
“We saw a clear opportunity in the market for customers who want genuine Grech quality, engineering, and service—without stepping into our ultra-premium flagship models,” Thurber added.
The new model addresses an “underserved segment” between entry-level camper vans and high-end Class B motorhomes, appealing to value-conscious buyers who prioritize reliability, construction quality, and ease of ownership.
VACANZA-ion also serves as a gateway into the Grech RV ecosystem, offering the same after-sales support, direct factory access, and average 15.3-day service resolution time as the brand’s flagship models.
Key features of VACANZA-ion include the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter AWD platform for all-weather performance, Grech engineering and craftsmanship for refined interiors and durable finishes, and the company’s advanced Ion Power Architecture for off-grid electrical reliability.
Thurber emphasized the model’s benefits for dealers: “For dealers, VACANZA-ion opens doors to new customers and long-term value. It’s not just a new model—it’s a relationship-building platform that supports growth across the entire Grech RV lineup.”
VACANZA-ion is designed for career-established professionals and families who research extensively, value transparent pricing, and expect premium service.
“The VACANZA-ion model line will be available through authorized Grech RV dealers nationwide. Additional details on floor plans, specifications, and availability will be announced in the coming weeks,” the company states.
