The Fisher family recently embarked on a spring break glamping trip at the Ventura Ranch KOA in Santa Paula, California. As part of their adventure, they explored various campground amenities including zip lines, an adventure park, and the natural beauty of the area.
The campground offers various accommodations such as cabins, teepees, and covered wagons, alongside traditional RV and tent camping spots, providing a unique outdoor experience for all visitors, as shown in a Youtube video by Rollin with the Fishers.
Upon arrival, guests check in at the main registration area which doubles as a convenience store for essentials. The Fishers stayed in a fully-equipped cabin which included a kitchenette, full bathroom, and sleeping loft.
The cabin’s proximity to the campground’s facilities made it a comfortable and convenient base for the weekend. Facilities like a rock climbing wall, gem mining area, and a “Bigfoot Watering Hole” for themed adventures add to the family-friendly atmosphere.
The highlight of their stay was the adventure course, which includes zip lines and various climbing challenges. Although weight restrictions prevented some family members from participating, the course offered an engaging and physically active way for the children and their mother to enjoy their day.
The course is designed with safety in mind, ensuring all participants are properly harnessed and instructed before embarking on the activities.
Throughout their stay, the Fishers encountered various wildlife, most notably peacocks, which roam freely around the campground. The presence of these birds added a unique and unexpected element to their glamping experience, enhancing the connection to nature that Ventura Ranch KOA promotes.
Other activities included exploring a rock labyrinth and mining for gemstones, activities that highlight the interactive and educational opportunities available to guests.
The Ventura Ranch KOA offers a diverse range of activities suited for families seeking a blend of adventure and relaxation in a natural setting. From comfortable glamping accommodations to adventurous zip lines and close encounters with wildlife, the campground provides a comprehensive outdoor experience.
Whether for family vacations or solo excursions, Ventura Ranch KOA embodies the spirit of accessible wilderness adventures.
