Kampgrounds of America (KOA) recently announced new ownership of the Douglas KOA Journey (Wyoming).
According to a report, Michael Avery acquired the Douglas KOA Journey–a year-round, award-winning campground facility located along the North Platte River right outside Douglas.
KOA Journey campgrounds are conveniently located close to highways and byways across North America.
Douglas KOA is horse-friendly and has a miniature golf course with a pool and the KampK9(r), an off-leash dog park. They also offer pull-through RV sites with 50-amp service and tent sites to enhance the campers’ camping experience.
Situated at 168 Cold Springs Road, the Douglas KOA Journey is among over 500 KOAs across the United States and Canada.
The campground was awarded the 2022 KOA Founder’s and President’s Award for achieving world-class scores and meeting exceptional quality standards.
According to its Facebook page, the Douglas area has abundant American history and numerous outdoor activities for outdoor enthusiasts.
