Wisconsin Dells KOA Holiday has completed a major expansion project that adds new premium accommodations and upgraded infrastructure at the campground, enhancing capacity and amenities at one of Wisconsin’s popular vacation destinations.
The campground, located near Wisconsin Dells’ waterparks, attractions, restaurants and outdoor recreation areas, introduced new deluxe KOA Patio RV sites designed to provide additional options for RV travelers and families visiting the region.
According to the announcement, the new sites include stamped-concrete patios, Polywood outdoor furniture and dedicated grilling areas intended to create more outdoor living space for guests.
The project also included infrastructure improvements aimed at supporting the campground’s continued growth.
Wisconsin Dells KOA Holiday plans to mark the completion of the expansion with a ribbon-cutting ceremony scheduled for June 18 from noon to 3 p.m.
Community members, local businesses, tourism partners and campground guests have been invited to attend the event.
“These investments reflect our ongoing commitment to providing an exceptional camping experience for our guests,” said Nate Thompson, partner at KCN Campgrounds and owner of Wisconsin Dells KOA Holiday.
“As we continue to grow, we’re focused on improving the amenities and accommodations travelers are looking for while helping families create lasting memories in Wisconsin Dells.” Thompson added.
The campground offers several types of accommodations, including RV sites, deluxe cabins, camping cabins, glamping tents and traditional tent sites.
Guests also have access to amenities such as a heated pool, splash pad, playground, KampK9 dog park, pickleball court and seasonal activities.
Kampgrounds of America (KOA) also cited findings from its annual Camping and Outdoor Hospitality Report showing that campers contributed $66 billion to local economies in 2025.
The report stated that average daily spending exceeded $200 per camper, while 33% of campers expressed interest in visiting small towns and 38% said they were attracted to historic sites.
Wisconsin Dells KOA Holiday is part of the KOA network, which includes more than 500 campgrounds across the United States and Canada. The company also operates KOA Journey and KOA Resort brands serving different types of travelers.
The campground, located at S235A Stand Rock Road, is open for the 2026 season from April 1 through Nov. 1. Reservations are available through the campground and the KOA mobile app.
