Skamania Lodge, a renowned destination nestled in the Columbia River Gorge, has expanded its accommodation offerings with the introduction of a luxury glamping experience.
This new venture is set to welcome guests starting May 2024, providing an upscale outdoor retreat that combines the allure of nature with the comforts of a high-end resort.
The lodge, already celebrated for its luxury treehouses and comprehensive wellness retreats, aims to redefine the glamping scene with its latest addition.
The glamping accommodations are housed in wood-framed safari-style tents, designed to offer guests an immersive experience in the natural beauty of the Columbia Gorge without forgoing the luxury and comfort Skamania Lodge is known for.
Each tent spans 472 square feet and is equipped with either a king bed or two queen beds, catering to different guest needs. The inclusion of a private bathroom, fire pit, and soaking tub in each tent underscores the lodge’s commitment to providing a luxurious outdoor experience. With bookings now open, the glamping experience starts at $519 per night during the offseason, with prices peaking at $1,069 over the Fourth of July weekend.

Guests are invited to spend their evenings by the fire, wrapped in Pendleton blankets, sharing stories, and roasting marshmallows, all while being lulled by the calm of the forest.
In addition to the luxurious accommodations, each glamping tent comes equipped with lawn and board games, activity books, s’more makings, flashlights, and a basket filled with special comforts such as snacks, blankets, and warm socks. These thoughtful touches enhance the overall stay, ensuring a memorable experience for guests.
Beyond the tents, Skamania Lodge offers a range of amenities to enrich the guest experience. These include instructor-led yoga, locally sourced meals in one of the lodge’s two dining rooms, a golf course and putting course, disc golf, an adventure park, ziplining, and axe throwing.
