This October, the Virginia Campground Association (VCA) will host its Annual Meeting and Tradeshow at the Misty Mountain Campground in Greenwood, Virginia.
Situated at the base of the Blue Ridge Mountains, Misty Mountain is set to welcome private campground owners, operators, and vendors from across the state.
The two-day event will commence Tuesday, October 3, and will conclude on Wednesday, October 4.
A significant portion of the event, the tradeshow, is slated for October 4, from 2:30 to 5:00 PM EDT. This will provide a platform for vendors to showcase their products and services to private campground owners and operators.
Private campground owners and operators stand to gain actionable insights and strategies from this meeting.
The event is structured to equip these professionals with the latest industry knowledge, which is essential in an era where camping is increasingly popular and campgrounds are expected to offer both nature and comfort to their guests.
The event will feature a full schedule of educational seminars and information sharing. With informative sessions, campground owners will have the opportunity to learn new skills that can directly impact the success and sustainability of their businesses.
A silent auction, a longstanding VCA tradition, will follow the tradeshow. Attendees are encouraged to participate, with the opportunity to bid on a variety of valuable items.
Donations for the auction are currently being accepted; contributors can mail items to 160 Willowdale Ln, Fredericksburg, VA 22405 or bring them directly to the event.
For private campgrounds, a significant contributor to Virginia’s tourism industry, these owners and operators are key players in the state’s economic landscape.
The VCA Annual Meeting and Tradeshow serves not only as a forum for networking but as a critical touchpoint for industry updates and collaborative learning, solidifying Virginia’s position as a premier camping destination.
All vendor registrants have been invited to attend the entirety of the meeting and social events. This inclusivity signals the VCA’s recognition of the integral role that vendors play in the campground industry, offering products and services that enable campground owners to enhance guest experiences.
In anticipation of the event, the VCA Board extends an open invitation to all members and interested parties.
