Yogi Bear’s Jellystone Park near Zion National Park is gearing up for a busy summer season as families seek adventure and relaxation. The camping, glamping, and RV resort has attracted visitors from Utah, Nevada, and beyond, already achieving a fully booked Fourth of July celebration.
The resort’s water zone features a variety of aquatic attractions. Two large swimming pools, “giant” water slides, a splashground for younger children, and a lazy river provide opportunities for water-based fun. Adding to the aquatic adventure is a man-made lake complete with a sandy beach and a floating obstacle course.
This Jellystone Park location is part of a larger network of over 75 franchised resorts across the U.S. and Canada, collaborating with Warner Bros. Discovery Global Themed Entertainment. Situated in Hurricane, Utah, the destination offers a setting with mountain views, just a short drive from Zion National Park and within reach of cities like Las Vegas and Salt Lake City.
Beyond the water attractions, the venue caters to a wide range of interests with amenities such as a jumping pillow, a playground, gem mining activities, and various sports courts and games. Scheduled activities include meet-and-greets with beloved characters Yogi Bear, Boo Boo, and Cindy Bear.
Seasonal offerings also showcase fall and Halloween-themed events, foam parties, dance gatherings, wagon rides, and arts and crafts sessions.
“We are thrilled that so many families are already discovering our Jellystone Park,” Scott Nielson, the local entrepreneur who developed and owns the resort, said in a press release. “As a dad, I just love seeing kids and their parents having so much fun together.”
Nielson also noted that while many out-of-town families come from Salt Lake City and Las Vegas, the park has also drawn visitors from across the country, including some who traveled from as far as New York.
The Jellystone park reports that late summer and fall are the “most popular times” for families to enjoy outdoor activities together. “As word about Jellystone Park Zion has spread on social media, reservations are really picking up, but we still have some cabin and RV bookings available in late August, September, and October,” Nielson explained.
The camp-resort also offers luxurious glamping cabins equipped with two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a loft, air conditioning, a kitchen, grill, fire ring, Wi-Fi, and linens. These cabins feature sky deck roofs, accessible via spiral staircases, that offer views of the surrounding sand dunes, canyons, and mountains.
For RV enthusiasts, the resort provides spacious pull-through and back-in sites with full hook-ups, designed to accommodate even the largest modern rigs.
