The Shyft Group Appoints Carl Esposito to Board of Directors

The Shyft Group, Inc. on Monday announced that Carl Esposito has been appointed to the company’s Board of Directors, effective March 14, 2022.

The company also announced the retirement of Ronald Harbour, 65, who has been a member of the Shyft Board of Directors since 2009. He will retire from the board effective as of the company’s annual meeting of shareholders in May 2022.

The Shyft Group is a North American company specializing in manufacturing, assembly, and upfit for the commercial, retail, and service specialty vehicle markets. 

Esposito brings decades of experience in leading strategic product innovation and global business lines in aerospace and automotive. He is currently Senior Vice President and President of the E-Systems business for Lear Corporation, a global automotive technology leader in Seating and E-Systems, roles he has held since 2019.

Before joining Lear in 2019, Esposito enjoyed a three-decade career at Honeywell, culminating in his position as the president of the Electronic Solutions Strategic Business Unit for Honeywell Aerospace. He was responsible for overseeing strategy, development of products, and sales. Before that, he was Vice of  Marketing and Product Management.

Esposito held various roles in Europe and the United States during his years with Honeywell. His roles included global sales and marketing, product management and strategy, program management, and engineering.
