The RV Aftermarket Conference Makes Last Call For ‘Aftermarket Product Of The Year’ Submissions

The RV Aftermarket Conference is making a last call for submissions for the “Aftermarket Product of the Year.” It is one of the annual awards given out during the event, recognizing the best aftermarket product.

Submissions for the award are free and will close tomorrow, June 24. All RV Industry Association (RVIA) are encouraged to submit any new product introduced to the RV aftermarket any time after the last conference held in Atlanta, as per RVIA’s News & Insights report.

The RV Aftermarket Conference will be held from August 8 to 11, 2022 in San Antonio, Texas. The award’s winner will be announced on Tuesday, August 9, during the 2022 RV Aftermarket Conference in San Antonio, Texas.

A panel comprised of RV parts and accessories experts from leading RV dealerships and a select group of RV distributor judges will review each product submitted. They would evaluate submitted products based on Innovation, Attraction, Endurance, Value, Visibility, and Usability.

The Innovation criteria require the product to have new features that meet real and present unmet market demands with RV consumers that other products have not done previously or addressed unmet demand in a unique manner and with significant measurable value.

For Attraction, the product must show desirable features and qualities that entice significant consumer interest and solve a major problem or need that drives retail sales.

The product must also have material components, design, and structure that allow it to endure for a long time. It has to have recognizable qualities that create product life-cycle longevity.

The product’s usage and impactful results must encourage repeated consumer purchases over time. It also needs to inspire customers to endorse the product as an outstanding solution because it was developed in a manner that distinguishes it from similar products.

The product also has to show the capability for customers to discover the product quickly and then engage in conversation with it. It’s beautifully designed to increase the ability of RV retailers to boost inventory turn-overs through marketing and merchandising.

The consumer’s overall experience using it must be enhanced by instructions or additional (digital or written) applications presented straightforwardly and concisely. The product is easy to use, and RV consumers are delighted with the product’s performance.

The RVIA encourages all its aftermarket supplier members to submit any new product they have introduced to the RV aftermarket any time after the last conference was held in Atlanta, Georgia.
