Storyteller Overland has introduced a new adventure van model called the TOUR MODE, expanding its lineup of overland and off-grid-capable vehicles, according to a company announcement.
The model is designed as a modular, four-season-ready vehicle with integrated power, bathroom, sleeping and workspace features.
The TOUR MODE is built on a Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 170-inch 3500 dually chassis and is configured to support extended travel and larger interior layouts.
The platform selection and dual rear wheel configuration are positioned to provide increased carrying capacity and interior volume compared.
According to the announcement, the vehicle includes a roof-mounted nVader roof rack system and a reconfigurable interior layout intended to support both travel and stationary use.
The interior centers on what the company calls the TroupeLounge system, which converts between seating space and an RV queen-size bed. The layout is designed to allow flexible use of living and sleeping areas within a single main cabin.
The van also integrates a built-in wet/dry bathroom module branded as the BoomBox, providing onboard bathing and sanitation capability. This feature is intended to support off-grid and remote travel where external facilities may be unavailable.
Electrical power is supplied by a 16.8-kilowatt-hour M-Power system. The announcement characterizes the power system as supporting extended off-grid operation.
Storyteller said the TOUR MODE includes a continuous interior workspace area and dedicated storage zones, with a design emphasis on modularity and adaptability for different trip types and durations. The vehicle is also described as suitable for four-season use.
The company said the TOUR MODE will be supported through its nationwide sales and service network, along with GXV-branded vehicles. That network includes dealer partners and certified service locations across the United States intended to provide maintenance and repair support.
Storyteller Overland, founded in 2018 and based in Birmingham, Alabama, manufactures overland vehicles and related gear for the adventure travel market.
