The RV Technical Institute (RVTI) has announced its upcoming hands-on technician training classes for October 2024. These classes, designed to improve technician competency across the RV industry, will take place at the RVTI campus in Elkhart, Indiana. Offering both Level 1 and Level 2 certifications, the program continues to be a critical resource for individuals and dealerships looking to enhance their technical skills.
The Level 1 course will run from October 21 to October 25, and another session will be held from October 28 to November 1. These in-person, week-long classes are tailored for entry-level technicians who are beginning their training journey. By focusing on the fundamentals, the Level 1 program equips students with essential skills that serve as the foundation for their future work in the RV industry.
For those seeking advanced training, the Level 2 course is available in two formats. The first in-person Level 2 class will be held from October 28 to November 15 at the Elkhart campus.
Additionally, a hybrid Level 2 option will be offered from October 28 to January 17. This course consists of 11 weeks of online learning, culminating in a final in-person session from January 13 to January 17 at the Elkhart campus. The hybrid format is ideal for technicians looking for flexibility while continuing to meet the demands of their day-to-day work.
The RVTI’s subscription model provides accessible and affordable training options for both dealerships and individual technicians.
“The RV Technical Institute’s subscription model provides access to Level 1 and Level 2 online training or in-person classes at Institute headquarters in Elkhart. Subscriptions enable RV dealerships to train all their technicians for the low price of only $1,500 per dealership location. For individuals, either mobile technicians or people who are looking to get into the RV technician field, there is a $600/year option,” a News & Insights report of RVIA indicated.
