The RV Industry Association (RVIA) announced comedian and television writer Chris Duffy as the keynote speaker for its third annual Leadership Conference. Scheduled for March 4-6, 2025, the event will take place at the Sheraton Grand at Wild Horse Pass in Phoenix, Arizona.
The conference brings together current and future leaders in the RV industry for two days of networking, professional development, and educational sessions. Duffy will deliver the keynote address on Wednesday, March 5.
Duffy, known for his work as a comedian, podcast host, and television writer, is set to bring his perspective to the conference. He currently hosts the popular podcast How to Be a Better Human and has delivered a TED Talk titled “How to Find Laughter Anywhere.
According to a News and Insights report of RVIA on December 17, his career spans appearances on Good Morning America, ABC News, NPR, and National Geographic Explorer. In addition to his on-camera work, Duffy contributed as a writer for both seasons of HBO’s Wyatt Cenac’s Problem Areas, a series executive produced by John Oliver.
Highlighting his versatility, Duffy also hosts Wrong Answers Only, a comedic streaming game show developed in partnership with LabX at the National Academy of Sciences.
The Leadership Conference, organized by the RVIA, serves as a platform for professional growth within the RV sector. Designed for top executives and emerging leaders, the event offers attendees opportunities to exchange ideas, develop skills, and gain insights into critical issues shaping the industry. Participants can also expect presentations, collaborative workshops, and networking sessions.
According to the RVIA, the conference is open to representatives across all segments of the RV industry, including manufacturers, suppliers, dealers, and campground operators. “The Leadership Conference will bring together top-level management as well as the next generation of leaders, across all segments of the RV industry,” the organizer indicated.
