The 2022 election for the RV Industry Association (RVIA) Board of Directors ended on September 28, and the results are now available.
Official representatives of member companies cast votes in the balloting period of September 7 to 28 for the five open seats, which were announced in August. From this pool, candidates were selected for four Manufacturing seats and one seat for Suppliers.
The five new board members are:
- Coley Brady, Alliance Group (Manufacturing)
- Matt Buckman, Lance Camper/REV Group (Manufacturing)
- Ryan Elias, Leisure Travel Vans/Triple E RV (Manufacturing)
- Brett Randall, Columbia Northwest, Inc. d/b/a Aliner (Manufacturing)
- Elden Wood, Carefree of Colorado (Supplier)
“Congratulations to all of those members who were elected to the RV Industry Association‘s Board of Directors. We look forward to working with you closely as we continue to drive our industry and the organization forward in the years ahead,” said RV Industry Association President & CEO Craig Kirby.
“I would also like to thank all the members who ran this year, we had an exceptional list of industry leaders volunteer to serve on the Board, and their interest in being more involved is very much appreciated. Our team looks forward to not only working with the newly elected members of the Board but also every one of the organization’s volunteer leaders who have a part in steering our direction moving forward.”
The new term of three years is scheduled to start on January 1, 2022.
The Board of Directors is the highest authority level within the organization’s structure. It is accountable for establishing and overseeing the strategy and policies concerning essential issues such as marketing, standards, government affairs, events, industry education, and financial affairs of the association.
The newly-appointed board members are welcome to attend the board meeting on November 9. The 2021 Board will have an organizational meeting right after to select officers for the coming year.
The date for the orientation for new board members of the Board is yet to be determined.
