RVDA Webinar to Focus on Merchandising Strategies to Boost RV Parts and Accessories Sales

The National RV Dealers Association will host a free educational webinar in May aimed at helping RV dealers improve profitability in their parts and accessories departments through enhanced merchandising strategies and store design techniques.

The session is intended to provide practical approaches dealers can apply directly within their retail operations.

The webinar is scheduled for Tuesday, May 12, at 2 p.m. Eastern time and will feature Brent Troncalli, sales trainer with Dometic.

A 30-year veteran of the outdoor industry, Troncalli will lead the session with a focus on retail execution and customer engagement strategies designed to increase sales performance in dealership parts departments.

During the program, Troncalli will address core merchandising fundamentals, including improving product visibility and optimizing store layouts to encourage customer interaction.

He will also outline methods for organizing inventory to improve accessibility and efficiency, as well as techniques for building displays that highlight both small accessories and larger, more difficult-to-merchandise items.

Additional topics will include the use of seasonal transitions to keep retail environments updated and relevant, along with approaches for designing customer flow and signage intended to support browsing behavior and improve conversion rates.

“This webinar gives RVDA members new, practical tools they can put to work immediately in their dealerships,” said RVDA President Phil Ingrassia.

“From simple layout adjustments to more strategic merchandising approaches, attendees will walk away with innovative ideas to improve both the customer experience and their bottom line,” Ingrassia added.

The session will also provide supporting materials, including checklists, quick-win strategies, and display concepts intended to help dealerships maintain a more engaging and organized retail environment.

The association said these resources are designed to help parts departments strengthen long-term customer retention and sales consistency.

The RVDA is encouraging fixed operations professionals, including parts specialists and parts managers, to participate in the webinar. Attendees will be eligible to receive one hour of continuing education unit credit for completing the session, which the association is positioning as a professional development opportunity for dealership staff focused on parts and accessories operations.
