The RV Technical Institute (RVTI) released its upcoming training courses for December, featuring both online and in-person options tailored for aspiring and current RV technicians.
The program offers Level 1 and Level 2 training modules through a subscription model, providing flexibility for RV dealerships and individual technicians to access industry-certified education. Classes will be held at RVTI’s headquarters in Elkhart, Indiana.
The subscription model launched by RVTI allows RV dealerships to train their entire technical staff at a cost-effective rate of $1,500 per location per year, ensuring broader access to quality training across the industry.
For individual technicians, including mobile technicians or those new to the field, an annual subscription is available for $600, allowing them to develop essential skills in the RV maintenance and repair field.
The program’s content is developed by a collaborative team of industry professionals, including representatives from suppliers, manufacturers, and dealers. According to News and Insights of RVIA, the RVTI will offer two training options this December in Elkhart. A one-week, in-person Level 1 course will run from December 9 to December 13, providing foundational skills for RV technicians.
For those pursuing advanced training, a 12-week Level 2 hybrid course begins on December 9 and includes 11 weeks of online instruction followed by an in-person week from February 24 to February 28, 2025, also held at the Elkhart campus.
