The RV Technical Institute (RVTI), a leader in RV technician training and certification, has taken a step forward in addressing the growing demand for RV service technicians by launching a job board on its website.
The job board aims to connect RV service technicians with job opportunities in the industry, making the search for employment easier and more efficient, as per the News & Insights report of the RV Industry Association.
As the demand for RV technicians continues to increase, the Institute is determined to provide career resources to help technicians advance in their careers. The Institute ended its “Year of Recruitment” in 2022 on a high note, surpassing its goal of recruiting 1,000 technicians from outside the industry by 10%.
This year, RVTI is aiming even higher, with a goal of recruiting 1,200 individuals and having Institute-trained students at 900 dealerships, up from 750 the previous year.
The job board, which is accessible from the Institute’s website, is a free resource for both technicians and dealerships.
Dealerships can post open positions to the board by filling in the required information, including the job title, location, company name, job description, and application details. There is also a “Preview Job Posting” option available for dealerships to review their post before it is published.
“We encourage all of our members to visit the job board. Dealerships will be able to post open positions at no cost, and it’s a great resource to direct recruits towards their next step in the industry. Our team hopes that this will be helpful for our members and, ultimately, for the RV industry as a whole as we continue to work on recruiting more service technicians,” Curt Hemmeler, executive director of RVTI, said.
The Institute is committed to enhancing the RV industry by providing the best training and resources to RV technicians. The launch of the job board is just one of the many ways the Institute is working to meet the needs of the industry and support the growth of RV technicians.
With the launch of the job board, RVTI is taking a proactive approach to connecting RV technicians with job opportunities and helping to address the shortage of RV service technicians in the industry.
The Institute is confident that the job board will be a valuable resource for both technicians and dealerships, making the process of finding employment in the RV industry easier and more accessible.
