The RV Aftermarket Conference is making a last call for nominations for the Lifetime Achievement Award, given to an individual each year for significantly contributing to the RV aftermarket throughout their career and lifetime.
The last day for the submission of nominations is tomorrow, June 17, as per the News & Insights report of the RV Industry Association (RVIA).
The award recipients have delivered exceptional product innovation, education, and philanthropy to the industry. Candidates also embrace a spirit of service to the industry, making a difference in the ongoing excellence of the RV Aftermarket while exhibiting strong moral and ethical behavior that exemplifies good stewardship and conduct.
Nominees for the RV Aftermarket Lifetime Achievement Award will be voted on by the previous ten award winners and the current Aftermarket Committee Chair and kept in the running for three years.
Recent Winners of the Awards include Ellen Kietzmann in 2007, Mike Keller in 2008, Ron Dempster in 2010, Jerry Shepherd in 2013, Tom Manning in 2014, John Spaulding in 2015, Darryl Searer in 2017, Bob Brammer in 2018, George Grengs in 2019, and Jerry Edwards in 2021.
The winner will be announced on Tuesday, August 9, during the 2022 RV Aftermarket Conference held in San Antonio, Texas.
Registration for RVIA’s annual industry conference focused on the RV aftermarket segment is now open. The event will be held from August 8-11.
The conference’s focus is to support great parts and accessory purchasing experience that will benefit supply chain members and the RV consumer. During the event, Aftermarket suppliers and distributors meet during one-on-one “appointment sessions” to pitch new products and review their current offerings.
In addition to networking with colleagues with a proven track record in the industry, attendees will hear from thought leaders on the state of the RV industry, develop strategies for expanding the market segment and discuss opportunities for future growth.
