Robert Costa to Speak at RVs Move America Week Tuesday Luncheon

Robert Costa will serve as the Tuesday luncheon speaker at RVs Move America Week, bringing his experience in national political reporting and broadcast journalism to the industry event.

Costa is a national correspondent for CBS News’ “Sunday Morning” and chief Washington analyst for the network. His role includes coverage of national politics, interviews with public figures, and reporting on culture, literature, and the arts.

As chief Washington analyst, he contributes reporting and analysis across multiple CBS News programs.

According to a News and Insights report of RVIA on April 21, his appointment as a national correspondent for “Sunday Morning” in February 2025 followed years of contributions to the broadcast. Among his recent work was an exclusive interview with former President Joe Biden in August 2024 at the White House residence. The interview marked Biden’s first since announcing he would not seek reelection.

Costa and his colleagues at “Sunday Morning” received an Emmy Award in 2023 for “Outstanding Recorded News Program,” recognizing the broadcast’s reporting and production.

Before his current roles, Costa served as chief election and campaign correspondent for CBS News, acting as the network’s lead political reporter during the 2022 midterm elections and the 2024 presidential campaign. He has also appeared as a guest anchor on programs including “CBS Evening News,” “CBS Weekend News,” and “Face the Nation.”

Prior to joining CBS News, Costa spent several years as a national political reporter at The Washington Post.

During that time, he also worked as moderator and managing editor of “Washington Week” on PBS and contributed as a political analyst for NBC News and MSNBC.

In 2021, Costa co-authored the book “Peril” with Bob Woodward, which became a No. 1 New York Times bestseller. His reporting has included extensive coverage of former President Donald Trump, including interviews spanning nearly two decades.

Costa holds a bachelor’s degree with honors from the University of Notre Dame and a master’s degree in politics from the University of Cambridge.
