RJourney Adds 36 Parks to Hipcamp Booking Platform Across 18 States

US-based booking platform Hipcamp has added 36 parks from North American RV resort operator RJourney to its platform. The addition expands Hipcamp’s portfolio of bookable destinations and forms part of RJourney’s wider network of nearly 50 properties across the United States and Canada.

The newly integrated parks are located across 18 states and include destinations such as Bryce Canyon in Utah, Kenanna RV Resort in Washington, and Willow Beach RV Park in Texas.

RJourney’s sites provide RV and tent sites, as well as cabins and yurts. Amenities at these resorts include swimming pools, playgrounds, sports fields, Wi-Fi, and laundry facilities.

Alyssa Ravasio, founder and chief executive of Hipcamp, said RJourney had built “a standout portfolio” of resorts in high-demand destinations, adding that the parks offer the level of guest experience Hipcamp users expect.

RJourney joins other operators using Hipcamp as an online travel agent distribution channel. Previous integrations in North America include Sun Outdoors, Blue Water Hospitality, and Spacious Skies Campgrounds. Internationally, Hipcamp works with Australian operators including Ingenia, NRMA, and Hampshire Holidays, according to an article published by ShortTermRentalz.

David Ross, chief executive of RJourney, noted that park managers had identified Hipcamp integration as a priority to increase visibility and attract younger campers.

This strategy reflects a broader trend in the RV and outdoor hospitality sector, where operators are leveraging digital platforms to reach new customer segments and optimize occupancy across high-demand properties.

For park operators, the integration highlights the importance of diversifying distribution channels to capture different customer segments. By listing on platforms like Hipcamp, operators can reach travelers who prioritize online discovery and booking convenience, potentially increasing occupancy during off-peak periods.

For the industry, it underscores the growing role of online platforms in driving demand and creating additional revenue streams for established resorts and smaller parks alike.
