‘Tis the season to be jolly, and there’s nothing more exciting than driving through a sea of lights!
Looking for a fun and exciting activity for the whole family this coming holiday season? Wawaloam Campground (Rhode Island) is set to open its drive-thru holiday light display tomorrow, November 25.
According to its website, the attraction features over a mile of twinkling and dancing lights spread throughout the campground, synced to popular holiday music.
Tickets are available on their website at $25 per vehicle. As per its website, guests are expected to spend 20-25 minutes in their vehicles to enjoy the sea of lights. The campground is also urging guests to turn off their headlights as the lit roads will lead the way.
Wawaloam campground was established in 1969 when Jim and Maureen Smith started their dream of running a vacation destination for campers visiting the Southern New England area. After a few decades and three generations later, Wawaloam has become a favorite place for campers of all ages.
The campground, named after a Nipmuck Native American Princess, is a family-friendly campground located at 510 Gardiner Road, West Kingston, Rhode Island.
The campground offers various activities that families and people of all ages can enjoy, including crafts, dances, movies, mini golf, and more.
Wawaloam Campground’s Festival of Lights is happening this November 25-27,
December 1-4, December 8-11, and December 15-23.
