Drive-Through Holiday Tradition Magic of Lights Ottawa Returns to Wesley Clover Parks

Magic of Lights Ottawa is delivering holiday cheer for the sixth season with the return of the dazzling annual drive-through light show benefitting children, youth, and families at CHEO. The two-kilometer route illuminated by nearly one million lights is back at the Wesley Clover Parks Campground located in Ottawa’s west-end from November 19 through January 8.

Those that have made Magic of Lights an annual tradition can expect to see fan favorites like the Enchanting Tunnel of Lights in addition to new festive scenes and characters including a 40-foot Dancing Mega Tree synchronized to everyone’s favorite holiday tunes.

As in previous years, Magic of Lights offers online ticket sales. With tickets sold by the vehicle Magic of Lights offers an affordable outing for families, friends, and corporate groups, tickets are now available at the lowest price of the season at www.magicoflights.com/ottawa. Tickets purchased online can be redeemed any night that Magic of Lights is open.

A cause close to many in the National Capital Region, Magic of Lights will once again raise funds for the CHEO Foundation, the organization responsible for developing, accepting, distributing, and recognizing philanthropy in support of CHEO, the CHEO Research Institute, and Roger Neilson House.

Dedicated to the best life for every child and youth, CHEO is a global leader in pediatric health care and research. As part of the announcement, Magic of Lights will be donating one ticket to CHEO families for the first 500 tickets sold.

“The Magic of Lights event has quickly become a family-favorite,” said Dan Champagne, VP Corporate and Community Development.

“We are so grateful for this partnership because not only does it bring in funds that will ensure children and youth have access to what they need at CHEO, the event itself is something that brings delight to every child that attends. Thank you to the entire Magic of Lights committee for the dedication you have shown for our local children’s hospital.”

The Magic of Lights experience wouldn’t be complete without holiday classics to sing along to, Ottawa’s Christmas music station and founding event partner Move 100 will help visitors get into the holiday spirit and offer opportunities to win tickets.

“Move 100 is thrilled to partner with Magic of Lights and Wesley Clover Parks to bring one of Ottawa’s biggest holiday traditions back to the National Capital Region again this year,” said Bell Media Regional General Manager, Local Radio/TV Richard Gray.

“This is one of the best family events happening any time of the year locally because it never disappoints” Gray added.

The Wesley Clover Parks Campground is conveniently located in Ottawa’s west-end at 411 Corkstown Road, Ottawa ON, west of the junction of the 416 and 417 highways. The show opened on November 19, 2021 and will run every evening, including holidays, from 5:00 pm to 10:00 pm through January 8, 2022.
