The Outdoorsy Group, a platform in outdoor travel and recreational vehicle rentals, has achieved a significant milestone by surpassing $3 billion in all-time transactions.
Operating in 11 countries and 4,800 cities, The Outdoorsy Group provides a comprehensive marketplace for recreational vehicles, insurance services, and real estate offerings.
According to a press release, Jeff Cavins, founder and CEO, remarked, “Reaching $3 billion in transactions is just the beginning. Our team remains focused on executing our bold vision and is eager to share exciting updates on our upcoming geographic expansion.”
He emphasized the company’s resilience in navigating economic challenges impacting consumers and leisure travel over the past year.
As part of its growth strategy, The Outdoorsy Group is set to expand its presence in Europe, enhancing its insurance partnerships and travel protection products. “We’re expanding our insurance partnerships to increase risk capacity while implementing go-to-market strategies to reach customers in new geographies,” Cavins explained. With these initiatives, the company aims to generate $665 million in premiums over the next five years.
The economic impact of The Outdoorsy Group’s operations is noteworthy. Cavins highlighted that a significant portion of transactions contributes directly to the gross domestic product and household incomes of hardworking individuals in the countries where they operate, helping to offset inflation and reward entrepreneurship. The company has also facilitated more than 7 million nights outdoors for families across North America.
With strategic partnerships and expansion plans, The Outdoorsy Group is projected to reach $8 billion in transactions by 2029, aiming to serve the 92 million outdoor-loving households in the United States.
Cavins added, “Outdoorsy.com offers the ease of booking trips online, allowing travelers to plan their adventures from anywhere, while Roamly provides a fully digital experience for binding insurance policies—a major leap forward in an industry still dominated by traditional methods. Together, we are streamlining both travel and protection, making outdoor experiences safer and more convenient.”
