The Outdoor Recreation Roundtable (ORR) will host a virtual briefing session on June 23, 1 PM Eastern, as a follow-up to the Electric Vehicle & Next Generation Technologies for Outdoor Recreation Summit last April.
The briefing will further discuss the strategic deployment of electric vehicles (EV) and other green technologies into the outdoor recreation market and economy, per the News & Insights report of the RV Industry Association (RVIA).
During the briefing, ORR will release a white paper on outdoor recreation’s state of readiness for electric vehicles and next-generation technologies. Members of Congress, CEOs of market-leading companies, agency representatives, and more will be featured.
The ORR’s event last April explored momentum and opportunities for electrifying recreation vehicles of all types, recreation’s ‘state of readiness,’ measures of consumer demand, the challenges of electric charging infrastructure near recreation assets, and other green economy solutions.
It had included panel discussions with speakers from outdoor recreation businesses, federal and state agencies, and partner organizations that will be key to the outdoor recreation industry’s successful integration of next-generation technologies.
