The Carolina’s Association of RV Parks and Campgrounds (CARVC) has improved its Camping Carolinas website, making it even more user-friendly with nifty search functions and accessible information.
According to its most recent email to members, the improvements came as the association aims to drive more campers to member parks.
“CARVC is working to make the website ‘Camping Carolinas’ the most recognizable and user-friendly tool for everyone camping in the Carolinas by providing useful search functions, highlighting things to do in each region, and creating reasons for campers to keep coming back to ‘Camping Carolinas’ for useful information,” the email reads.
The state association also improved the website’s members-only area to provide information to members about CARVC and resources for operating successful campgrounds.
Website enhancements include the new home page where CARVC removed the search function to load the site faster. There are also improvements to the advertising placement to give equal opportunity to all advertisers.
The Find a Campground page has been improved by adding more filters to the search function so users can find campgrounds faster. The new search capabilities include search by keywords, area search, amenities, types, and radius.
The Explore the Carolinas page has been divided into two sections. One highlights things to do in North Carolina and the other section highlights things to do in South Carolina. This page has all regions for both North and South Carolina for quick access to listing their associated listings.
CARVC improved the link dropdown when it comes to navigation to and access for members and prospective suppliers.
Big improvements were done with the supplier directory’s organization which divides the suppliers by categories. Supplier members can request access to their listing. They can update their contact information, social media links, add coupons, update details/descriptions, and addresses.
Under the RV Dealerships page, all of the RV dealers are listed on an interactive map.
The Camping Directory dropdown has also been improved to allow guests to find RV parks easily.
The association also improved the member dashboard to make it easier for the members to access. Members can now update their listing from “my listing” where they can add their property’s amenities and types, upload pictures, add social media, video, and coupons.
