New Webinar to Explore Regulatory Challenges and Opportunities for RV Dealers in 2025

The National RV Dealers Association (RVDA) will host a webinar on December 19 at 2:00 p.m. Eastern time, in collaboration with KPA, a provider of environment, health, and safety solutions for dealerships.

The event, titled “Regulatory Insights for RV Dealers: 2024 & Beyond,” is designed to help RV dealerships navigate shifting regulatory landscapes as a new administration and Congress take office in January.

The free webinar aims to equip dealership owners, general managers, human resources professionals, and compliance officers with strategies to address evolving workplace safety standards, labor laws, and environmental regulations impacting the RV industry. Registration is available through RVDA’s website.

According to a press release, Stephany Birkholz, regulatory project manager at KPA, will lead the session, providing an in-depth analysis of regulatory changes from 2024 and a preview of anticipated developments for 2025. The presentation will include updates on compliance deadlines, state-led efforts to restrict the use of PFAS in RVs, and OSHA’s proposed rules addressing heat injury prevention.

“Staying ahead of regulatory changes is essential for ensuring smooth operations and minimizing risk,” said RVDA President Phil Ingrassia. “With a new Congress and the Trump Administration taking office in January, this session is designed to give RV dealers the knowledge and tools they need to adapt and thrive in a constantly changing regulatory environment.”

Birkholz emphasized the importance of preparedness, stating, “In addition to changes like minimum wage and regular penalty increases, there are regulations in motion that are likely to be finalized or take effect this year. This session will get into everything from OSHA’s proposed Heat Illness Prevention and Preparedness Rule to Environmental Reporting.”

RVDA, the national association representing RV dealers, continues its commitment to supporting the industry through advocacy, education, and member services. KPA also offers consulting services, compliance software, and training to help dealerships maintain workplace safety, manage risks, and meet regulatory requirements.
