The 2022 RV Dealers Convention/Expo is an industry event that RV dealers should not miss. During the convention, which takes place November 7-11 at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, attendees can hear from experts on how to grow their RV dealership. Some of the sessions will tackle ways to improve sales and management.

According to RVDA, management and sales training expert David Martin will deliver back-to-back workshops that dealers should find vital in the current sales climate as part of the sales education track during the five-day event.

Martin is president of the Mar-Kee Group, an international sales and management training company. He has four decades of experience in sales, management, and training, and his firm has served over 5,100 dealers worldwide.

“Order Takers No More!” is an hour-long course, scheduled for 8:15 a.m. – 9:15 a.m. on November 8. In this workshop, Martin will discuss the best responses to customer objections that will inevitably occur. He will also share the eight most powerful questions to ask customers, as well as the psychology behind them. Finally, Martin will identify how to use social media and other prospecting methods to cultivate a never-ending flow of prospects.

Topics for this workshop include:

  • Learn the three keys to sell from stock and close the sale
  • Take back to the dealership’s powerful responses to the six main objections heard from customers daily
  • Discover the eight most effective questions that turn shoppers into buyers

From 10:45 a.m. to 11:45 a.m., also on November 8, Martin will hold another workshop titled “The Virtual Sales Professional.”

COVID caused a seismic shift in consumer shopping habits, noted the RVDA. Without question, remote communication and selling techniques can be the perfect complement to the traditional sales model. In this workshop, attendees will learn how to drive sales by utilizing a more personal customer experience.

 Topics for this session include:

  • Learn why video is such a crucial part of today’s interaction with customers
  • Discover what specific techniques it takes to be an expert in electronic communications
  • Be exposed to best practices on communicating with prospects in the way that ensures that they will stay engaged

About the RV Dealers Convention/Expo

The education program will provide segmented content based on dealership size, management structure, and revenue in addition to focusing on things dealers have in common.

The annual RVDA Convention/Expo brings together dealers, manufacturers, suppliers, and RV industry business partners for the premier dealer education and networking event of the year.
