One of the most important relationships an employee has at work is with the supervisor. It can be a challenge for some leaders, but also very rewarding if done right. During the 2022 RV Dealers Convention/Expo in Las Vegas, leadership trainer Pete Smith will host a special session for RVDA’s Leadership Roundtable
“Rockstar Manager: From Valued Colleague to Significant Leader,” a half-day course, is offered in conjunction with the convention for an additional $119 fee and is made possible by Gulf Stream Coach. With attendance capped at 50 dealership professionals, early registration is encouraged, RVDA said in a press release.
“We are proud to continue our sponsorship the RVDA Leadership Roundtable course at the RV Dealers Convention/Expo,” said President of Gulf Stream Coach, Phil Sarvari. “Gulf Stream prides itself in supporting the development of the next generation of RV dealership leaders.”
The most important relationship that exists within any organization is the one between an employee and their immediate supervisor. This sounds easy, yet management can be challenging, yet the key is in the know-how, noted the release.
Topics for this course include:
- The Manager’s Make Up: Identity of the Manager; Owning Your Influence; Understand the difference between Approachability vs. Availability
- Developing a High-Performance Team: Conduct a Fear Analysis; Learn the motivators of each
The leadership development course is scheduled for 8 am-11:45 a.m. on November 8, during the 2022 RV Dealers Convention/Expo at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, which takes place on November 7-11.
Smith has helped individuals, teams, and organizations improve their leadership and personal growth for more than 25 years, is the author of “Dare to Matter,” the #1 best seller in the Human Resources and Personnel Management category, and the #2 best seller in the Business Motivation and Self-Improvement category.
About the RV Dealers Convention/Expo
Just as dealerships strive for continuous improvement, the RVDA Convention/Expo Committee is using the same principle when it comes to the RV Dealers Convention/Expo. The education program will provide segmented content based on dealership size, management structure, and revenue, in addition to focusing on things dealers have in common.
The annual RVDA Convention/Expo brings together dealers, manufacturers, suppliers, and RV industry business partners for the premier dealer education and networking event of the year.
