Unique RV Park Coming to Columbia Falls

Columbia Falls (Montana) may soon be home to a new and unique RV Park.

According to a report, Clark W. Griz and Tawnya Bingham have filed a proposal for Urban Woods RV Park, a unique park where people who visit rent the retro-style onsite RVs–not their own.

The proposed park is next to Columbia Falls RV park; however, the two businesses aren’t affiliated, Bingham said.

The park will feature ten RVs available for rental, which, depending on their size, can accommodate between two to four guests.

The RVs include air conditioning, kitchens, bathrooms, and some come with bathtubs. They’ll be hooked up to city water and sewer.

The Columbia Falls City-County Planning Board recently granted the park’s preliminary subdivision plan the green light with some conditions, such as the addition of a new fire hydrant.

The proposal will go onto the Columbia Falls City Council meeting on April 4 for final consideration.

If the council approves, Bingham said they plan to invest a large amount of money in landscaping the park to make it an inviting and woodsy environment, with the possibility of a soft opening later this summer to the locals. A store on the property could be turned into a gaming area for guests.

The RVs are manufactured by Riverside Retro, and each one is unique in color and style, Bingham noted.

The RVs are currently parked on the site.
