According to the report, at dusk on Aug. 18, Disney’s Aladdin will be shown in Huroc Park. Hot dogs, cotton candy, and a Kona Ice Truck will be available on-site with shaved ice.

In the report, Heather Beitler, the director of programming in the city’sDepartment said Flat Rock Our Hometown created two Movie in the Park events as a way for the community to meet a need that existed when Beitler was out of work.
She stated that her goal as director of programming was to create a stronger sense and community through events and experiences. This is especially important in this year’s unexpected x-factor, and she also supports and encourages local businesses to patronize.
