Terramor Outdoor Resort will host the second edition of its Ember & Element: A Wellness Retreat from May 29 to June 1, 2026, in Bar Harbor, Maine, following the program’s debut year, which received a Bronze Adrian Award from the Hospitality Sales and Marketing Association International.
The four-day retreat will feature expanded programming focused on movement, mindfulness and nature-based activities, targeting guests seeking structured wellness experiences in an outdoor setting.
The event will take place on the resort’s wooded property near Acadia National Park.
According to a press release, Jenny McCullough, associate vice president of brand growth for Kampgrounds of America (KOA) said the program’s return reflects both guest demand and the company’s broader strategy.
“Ember & Element is intentionally designed to help guests slow down, breathe deeper and reconnect—with nature, with themselves, and with each other,” McCullough said.
Programming will be led by New England-based practitioners, including Shazie Senen, an EFT practitioner and yoga sculpt instructor, who will conduct sessions combining strength, cardio and mindfulness, as well as guided journaling and tapping workshops.
Danielle Sweet, a mountain biking guide, will lead beginner and intermediate gravel biking sessions, including a 20-mile ride through Acadia carriage roads.
Jessica Rose Lantos, a Reiki master teacher, will also offer yin yoga and energy healing sessions.
Additional activities will include guided art sessions with Maine Outdoor School and a storytelling program, Voices of MDI, focused on the history and cultural narratives of Mount Desert Island through Native perspectives.
On-site workshops will feature beeswax candle-making and beekeeper-led discussions, alongside honey tastings sourced from the resort’s apiary.
Evening programming will include live music, guided stargazing and a Fire Release Ceremony designed as a group reflection activity.
All on-site programming is included with a standard stay, while dining and select off-site activities will be offered separately.
Optional add-ons include massage treatments, guided hikes in Acadia National Park and saltwater immersion experiences.
Accommodations will be provided in canvas safari-style tents designed to combine outdoor lodging with indoor amenities.
