KOA Launches World-Class Guest Service Program Recognizing Top Campgrounds

Kampgrounds of America (KOA), the largest network of privately owned campgrounds worldwide, announced the launch of its World-Class Guest Service recognition program. 

This initiative celebrates campgrounds achieving a Net Promoter Score (NPS) of 70 or higher in 2024, highlighting their commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences.

The program underscores KOA’s emphasis on recognizing excellence in hospitality across its network. This year, KOA’s system-wide NPS reached 71, placing the organization among North America’s top-rated companies. This milestone reflects the dedication of KOA franchisees to maintaining high standards of service and hospitality.

“Our campgrounds’ commitment to customer-centric service shines through in these results,” said Toby O’Rourke, KOA President and CEO. “Achieving an NPS of 70 or higher is no small feat, and it reflects the dedication of our franchisees and their teams to create exceptional guest experiences. The World-Class Guest Service recognition program is our way of celebrating and honoring their success.”

The recognition program includes a comprehensive list of 280 campgrounds that excelled in guest satisfaction. These campgrounds will be featured in the 2025 KOA Directory and will receive digital assets to promote their achievement. The full list of recognized campgrounds is available on KOA’s website.

According to a press release, KOA’s network spans North America, with campgrounds known for their welcoming atmosphere and consistent quality. The bright yellow KOA sign has become synonymous with reliability and relaxation, attracting millions of campers annually. 

Located in diverse regions across North America, KOA campgrounds often serve as gateways to local attractions and natural wonders. From coastal escapes to mountain retreats, these properties enhance the camping experience with unique features tailored to their surroundings.

Guided by the mission of “connecting people to the outdoors and each other,” KOA encompasses two distinct brands: KOA and Terramor Outdoor Resorts. KOA provides campground owners with a suite of services, including education, design, recruitment, marketing, and technology support.
