Kampgrounds of America Recognized as 2025 Best-in-Category Franchise by FBR

Kampgrounds of America (KOA) has been named the Best-in-Category Franchise for 2025 by Franchise Business Review (FBR), recognizing the company’s leadership in outdoor hospitality. The accolade places KOA at the forefront of the recreation sector and among the Top 50 franchises across various industries, securing the 43rd position on FBR’s Top 200 Franchise list.

The independent ranking by Franchise Business Review is based solely on franchisee satisfaction. FBR conducts surveys to gauge franchise owners’ perspectives on key areas such as training, support, innovation, leadership, and financial opportunity. This year marks FBR’s 20th annual list, highlighting the top-performing franchises through direct feedback from franchisees.

According to a press release, Toby O’Rourke, president and CEO of KOA, expressed appreciation for the recognition, stating, “We are incredibly honored to be recognized as the top franchise in our field and among the top 50 overall by Franchise Business Review. The recognition is a credit to our ongoing commitment to our franchisees’ success by creating valuable relationships with each owner and operator.” 

O’Rourke emphasized the company’s dedication to providing franchisees with the tools and resources necessary to succeed in an evolving industry.
