Anna Parker Joins Patrick Industries as Vice President of Marketing: A Key Addition in the RV Industry

Anna Parker has recently been appointed as the vice president of marketing at Patrick Industries, a leading supplier in the RV, marine, and housing sectors. 

With over 15 years of experience in the marketing and advertising industry, Parker has worked with renowned companies such as Coca-Cola and Citibank.

She now takes on the challenge of navigating the RV industry, a field she deems fascinating and filled with inspiring entrepreneurial stories, as per the News & Insights report of the RV Industry Association (RVIA).

Born in Goshen, Indiana, Parker grew up next to Elkhart, known as the “RV Capital of the World.” Despite her close proximity to the industry, her direct involvement only began six months ago when she joined Patrick Industries. 

Parker’s career took off after completing her master’s degree in advertising from the University of Florida in 2008. Her expertise grew alongside the rapid expansion of communication technologies, making her well-equipped to take on the challenges in the RV industry.

Parker’s T-shaped career spans various industries, from consumer-packaged goods to the automotive sector. As the new Vice President of Marketing at Patrick Industries, her primary focus will be on effectively communicating the company’s unique position and achievements to customers, employees, and investors. 

This task is especially challenging due to the company’s expansive reach, boasting over 80 brands, 11,000 team members, and 250 manufacturing and distribution facilities.

In her new role, Parker aims to bring a higher level of strategy, professionalism, and creative innovation to corporate communications. She also seeks opportunities to create synergy and leverage within Patrick Industries’ business units, further enhancing their value. 

This approach aligns with the company’s brand-fronted model, which empowers individual brands and their leaders to maintain unique identities and strong customer relationships.

Parker emphasizes the importance of collaboration and respect within the company culture, stating that their motto, “better together,” reflects their focus on both business growth and personal development

She envisions Patrick Industries as a place where employees can achieve success in their careers and personal lives, as well as contribute positively to their community.

To effectively share Patrick Industries’ story of growth and transformation, Parker plans to invest in content creation, video production, and strategic communication development. She also aims to strengthen relationships with trade groups and publications, fostering collaboration and innovation in the RV industry.

Parker utilizes resources such as Go RVing and the RVIA to inform her marketing campaigns and decision-making processes. By accessing data, research, and content available through these organizations, she is better equipped to navigate the industry and contribute to its continued growth.
