According to a News & Insights report of the RV Industry Association (RVIA), the program remains a consumer and marketing thought-leader, introducing millions of Americans to the thrill of RV travel and instilling the desire and excitement for the adventure that lies ahead.
One method Go RVing has used is developing the First-Timer’s RV Tool Kit and launching it last year. The resources helped with the influx of new owners who were swiftly entering the RV world and searching for information on using their brand-new RVs. The initial set of resources included the basics of towing and driving a motorhome, traveling with pets and kids, what to look for when purchasing an RV, as well as other tips for beginners.
This year, Go RVing expanded the new-to-RVing information by 300%, offering detailed information for new buyers. This content draws upon the experience of trusted social media influencers, media partners, and experts from the RV Technical Institute (RVTI) to provide the knowledge and expertise that some new RVers are seeking.
The tool kit has grown to include information on sewer and water hook-ups, propane, electrical systems, regular maintenance for RVs, camping setup, the most important equipment, tools, and much more.
The video hub currently has more than 80 videos and is optimized to improve SEO, better search results, and easier navigation for users.
