FRVCA Gears Up for 2025 Campground Conference, Highlights Florida’s Q3 Tourism Growth

Florida has set a new benchmark in tourism, welcoming 34.6 million visitors in the third quarter of 2024. This figure marks a 1.8% increase compared to the same period last year, achieving the highest visitation numbers ever recorded for a third quarter.

The influx of travelers included 31.8 million domestic visitors, 2.3 million international tourists, and 582,000 Canadians. According to VISIT FLORIDA, this milestone extends the state’s streak of record-breaking visitation for three consecutive quarters.

The consistent rise in tourism underscores Florida’s global appeal as a premier destination. VISIT FLORIDA attributes this growth to the state’s diverse attractions, effective marketing strategies, and sustained investment in tourism infrastructure. Major airports across the state recorded over 25 million enplanements, contributing significantly to the visitation figures.

In addition to its tourism achievements, Florida is gearing up for the 2025 Florida and Alabama RV Park and Campground Outdoor Hospitality Conference & Expo, scheduled for May 6-9, 2025. The event will take place at the Rosen Shingle Creek in Orlando.

The multi-day conference is designed for professionals within the outdoor hospitality sector, including RV park and campground owners, operators, and managers. Organizers emphasize the value of this gathering in fostering business growth and innovation within the industry.

The conference will offer attendees a range of expert-led seminars focused on actionable strategies to enhance their businesses. Topics will cover cost-saving measures, staff training techniques, and marketing approaches tailored to the outdoor hospitality industry.

A highlight of the conference is its extensive networking opportunities, enabling attendees to engage directly with peers and industry leaders. “You will have networking opportunities with campground owners where you can ask about their mistakes and triumphs, and grab some invaluable ideas and insights,” the conference website indicates.

Participants will also have the chance to connect with vendors, offering them a preview of innovative products and services available in the market. This early engagement with suppliers can help campground owners make informed decisions when planning future investments.

Early registration for the conference is now open. For more information about the conference, visit their website here.
