The Outdoor Recreation Roundtable (ORR) is set to host an exclusive webinar for RV Industry Association (RVIA) members on April 5, highlighting the potential impact of the Farm Bill on local economies, rural communities, and outdoor recreation resources.
The webinar aims to demonstrate how the major piece of legislation can foster sustainable infrastructure, secure access to public lands and waters, and invigorate rural communities through investments in outdoor recreation resources, as per the News & Insights report of the RVIA.
Jason Rano, the newly appointed vice president of government affairs for the RVIA, will be one of the panelists at the event.
With over 18 years of experience in directing, creating, and implementing successful legislative and regulatory initiatives at the local, state, and federal levels, Rano brings a wealth of expertise to the discussion. He replaces Jay Landers, who is retiring after more than three decades in the position.
Before joining the RVIA, Rano served as senior partnership development manager at Rivian. He spearheaded efforts to deploy electric vehicle chargers on public lands through partnerships with public land agencies, non-profit partners, concessioners, utilities, and others.
