Dragonfly Energy Corp., a leading manufacturer of deep cycle lithium-ion batteries, and special purpose acquisition company Chardan NexTech Acquisition 2 Corp. (CNTQ) announced last Friday that Dragonfly would host a Virtual Analyst & Investor Day on August 5, 2022 at 11:00 am EDT.
During the two-hour virtual event, members of the Dragonfly and CNTQ executive teams will provide an overview of the company, whose cutting-edge technology is enabling the replacement of lead-acid batteries and the creation of next-generation solid-state batteries to address tomorrow’s energy storage needs, according to a press release.
The formal presentation will be followed by a live question and answer session hosted by Dragonfly and CNTQ management.

Last May 15, 2022, CNTQ entered a merger agreement with Dragonfly. The combined company is expected to be on the Nasdaq list upon completion of the transaction, expected to occur in the year’s second half.
However, it will be subject to CNTQ’s shareholders’ approval, the Registration Statement being declared effective by the SEC, and other customary closing conditions.
Dragonfly also gained investments from RV manufacturer THOR Industries. It is one of the manufacturer’s efforts to expand its electrification profile.
THOR Chief Executive Officer Bob Martin calls the alignment with Dragonfly a “natural fit” to the evolution of the company’s product lines.
