CRS Appoints Spencer Wiberley as National Business Development Specialist

Commercial Recreation Specialists (CRS) announced Spencer Wiberley’s appointment as the new national business development specialist. With over 20 years of experience transforming waterfronts into recreational hubs, Spencer’s addition will help promote active recreation.

Spencer’s achievements include establishing global junior sailing programs and developing waterfront operations. His expertise aligns with CRS’ mission to deliver recreational solutions that drive results for their clients.

Known for his empathetic approach and focus on business objectives, Spencer delivers strategic, goal-oriented solutions that meet client expectations. Additionally, his consultative style has led to numerous successful projects.

Spencer’s leadership will focus on expanding CRS’ influence across the United States and the Caribbean. He aims to build partnerships with key stakeholders and drive growth in diverse market segments, including national accounts, resort and campground developers, and multi-location projects.

Ryan Hartberg, vice president of sales and marketing for CRS, expressed that the team is very fortunate to have someone with Spencer’s background and character joining them.

“His commitment to ethical business practices and his passion for providing solutions in the recreation industry will benefit our customers. His background in sales, operations, manufacturing, and project-based work is a huge asset for CRS, our clients, and our partners,” Hartberg said.

According to a press release, Spencer’s career began in biochemical and genetic DNA analysis, but his passion for people soon redirected his path toward recreation and business development. He has supported youth sailing programs through organizations like the International Optimist Dinghy Association (IODA) and the United States Optimist Dinghy Association (USODA).

During his tenure with McLaughlin Boat Works, Spencer supplied boats and nurtured skill development and access. His commitment to impactful, consultative partnerships has been evident throughout his career, and he is expected to help CRS clients scale their concepts and achieve their goals.

For over 25 years, CRS has served customers throughout the United States and the Caribbean.
