Camping World Holdings, Inc, an American Recreation Dealer, today announced an agreement to acquire Richardson’s RV Centers.
The acquisition of Richardson’s RV Centers is the largest in the company’s history. It strengthens the position of Camping World as the number one RV dealer in California, according to the press release.
The agreement covers eight locations across California and Indiana, including five current dealerships, one future dealership site, and two parts and service centers.
“The Richardson’s top-notch management along with their solid team members are the primary reason we sought this deal,” said Marcus Lemonis, CEO and Chairman of Camping World Holdings. “We know the Richardson’s RV Centers add immediate value for our customers, as an iconic family brand that has been providing exceptional service to RVers for over 30 years.”
The California locations will change to the Camping World brand. They will bring the current number of locations up to 12 RV dealerships and five service and parts centers in the state, with another dealership coming in the future.
The Indiana location will be converted to their RVs.com brand and offer a digital and factory direct experience for customers throughout the nation.
The SuperCenters will provide a broad assortment of used and new RVs from the top manufacturers, in addition to an entire range of outdoor and RV-related accessories and products, as well as the entire portfolio of Good Sam products and services.
