The Arizona Association of RV Parks & Campgrounds (Arizona ARVC) has named Verde Valley RV Resort the 2022 Large Park of the Year award winner.
As per a press release, this is Verde Valley Resort’s first time receiving the prestigious award and the first for a Thousand Trails branded campground.
Overall, this is the ninth season that an RV resort in the network of Encore RV Resorts and Thousand Trails Campgrounds was acknowledged by the Arizona ARVC.
Last year, Encore’s Voyager RV Resort bagged the ARVC Mega Park of the Year award for the third time since 2014.
The Large Park of the Year Award, for parks with 251 to 500 sites, was presented to the manager of Verde Valley RV Resort, Scott Woolley, by members of the executive committee for Arizona ARVC.
The annual ARVC Park of the Year Awards honor RV resorts that provide exceptional guest experiences as a result of all-around excellence in operations, professionalism, marketing, customer service, and industry involvement for over 20 years.

According to its Facebook page, Verde Valley RV Camping is a stunning RV campground in Arizona best known for its expansive desert and mountain backdrops.
Situated on the Verde River, this 300-acre oasis in the high desert of Arizona is surrounded by the majestic beauty of the Red Rocks to the north, Mingus Mountains to the west, and the Hackberry Mountains to the south and adjacent to beautiful Alcantara Vineyards.
Guests can bring their RVs or rent a cottage, cabin, or even a tiny house during their stay.
