Campspot, a provider of campground management software, announced a new integration with SimpleTexting that enables two-way text communication for parks and their campers.
With a 95 percent open rate and a 45 percent response rate, text messaging is one of the quickest ways for campgrounds to send or receive important information. Whether campgrounds need to communicate an issue about a site, ask a guest a question, or simply share a promotion, text messaging can help them get the message out quickly.
As campers are, by nature, highly mobile, they rely on their phones to stay in touch. This kind of back-and-forth communication gives campground operators easier access to understanding guest needs and preferences while providing their guests a more convenient way to get in touch in return.
“Two-way text messaging is something we get asked about a lot, and we are happy to make such a helpful communication tool available to our parks,” said Ryan Powell, Campspot’s technical product manager.
The integration with SimpleTexting is made possible by the Campspot and Mailchimp integration. Anyone who is using, or plans to use, Mailchimp has the option to sign up for SimpleTexting.
