UK’s 2024 Caravan and Motorhome Show Draws 95,000 Attendees; Next Showcase Scheduled for October

The 2024 Caravan, Camping, and Motorhome Show, hosted at the National Exhibition Centre (NEC) in Birmingham from February 13 to 18,  attracted 95,647 attendees, with the show displaying the latest trends in the caravan industry and motorhomes.

Looking ahead, the next showcase of the Motorhome and Caravan Show, set for October 15 to October 20, at the NEC, is one of the UK’s largest leisure vehicle shows. It is expected to present an even broader array of models and innovations for the 2025 season.

“We are really pleased with the outcome of the Show. The economic environment is challenging at the moment, so it was great to welcome so many visitors to the event and in turn, sales for our exhibitors. The appetite for spending quality time touring and exploring the outdoors whether it be camping under canvas, in a caravan, campervan, or motorhome, is as popular as ever. We’re looking forward to building on the success of the Show to deliver an even greater choice of products, travel inspiration, advice, and activities for visitors in 2025 – watch this space!“ Karen Dodd, marketing director at NCC Events, said, as quoted in a National Caravan Council press release.

The show presented a diverse selection of camping, caravanning, and motorhome options, catering to a wide range of preferences and budgets. Exhibitors took the opportunity to showcase the latest innovations and models, providing a comprehensive overview of the choices available to enhance outdoor experiences.

“It’s been a really fantastic Show and great to see so many new as well as familiar faces. With it being half-term we’ve had a lot of families as well as some of our most loyal customers coming here to see our new caravan and campervan models, as well as our new Alora range. The Show is a great platform to launch new products and we’ve been getting a lot of good feedback and sales,” Cristina Dorador, head of marketing at Bailey of Bristol, said.

This gathering attracted a diverse audience, ranging from seasoned campers to those new to the outdoor lifestyle, all exploring the extensive array of products on display. The event featured a wide selection of campsites and destinations, alongside expert advice available to attendees.

“The Caravan Camping & Motorhome Show is always a great start to the year for Adria, generating the start of the Spring sales. The Show has great energy and is full of enthusiastic prospective buyers who share our passion for the great outdoors. The Show is the best opportunity for visitors to see all things camping under one roof, and also great for us as manufacturers to showcase all of our ranges to tens of thousands of people over just a few days. It was a great show with strong sales figures and a strong customer demand for Adria vehicles, and we are all looking forward to the next show in October 2024,” Slavica Sterk, managing director at Adria, said.
