The 2026 Caravan, Camping & Motorhome Show concluded with a significant 12% increase in attendance compared to the previous year. Held at the NEC Birmingham from February 17 to 22, the event attracted 100,072 visitors over its six-day run.
According to an article by Out & About Live, organized by NCC Events, the showcase featured more than 420 exhibitors across five halls. The display included the latest leisure vehicles, tents, holiday homes, and outdoor accessories.
Exhibitors reported an upbeat atmosphere and strong sales throughout the week. Several brands noted that the event surpassed their 2025 performance, with some calling it their most productive February show to date.
Coachman confirmed that sales rose 20% over last year’s figures. Meanwhile, Bailey of Bristol reported high interest in new model launches, and Hillside Leisure saw record-breaking vehicle sales for a February event.
Adria utilized the platform to unveil new Action and Adora caravan models. The company reported healthy business secured through its various dealerships following the launches.
The show saw a notable influx of first-time buyers alongside seasoned caravanners. This diversity in demographics suggests a widening appeal for leisure vehicle holidays across various age groups.
Industry leaders described the event as a reflection of the resilience within the United Kingdom’s touring sector. The Caravan and Motorhome Club characterized the energy at the NEC as a sign of growing momentum for the 2026 season.
Organizers have already scheduled the return of the event for February 16 to 21, 2027, at the NEC Birmingham. Prior to that, the industry will gather again for the Motorhome & Caravan Show from October 13 to 18, 2026.
This surge in visitor numbers and sales serves as a vital economic indicator for the RV industry, signaling robust consumer confidence and a healthy pipeline of new entrants into the lifestyle.
