The Charm of Blue Pool Camping in Dorset

Blue Pool Camping, nestled within the Furzebrook Estate in Dorset, United Kingdom, is offering an exclusive and unique camping experience for nature lovers and adventurers alike. With recent upgrades and new offerings since 2022, the campsite is set to provide an unforgettable “back to nature” experience.

New since 2022, Blue Pool Camping expanded its offerings with larger 5 or 6-meter bell tents from Bell Tent Boutique.

For the more adventurous, Blue Pool Camping introduced Private Pitch “Wild Camping”. This option offers four secret locations on the Furzebrook Estate for campers to pitch their own tents.

Upon arrival, campers are taken to their private camping pitch, equipped with an eco-loo, sufficient water, and a convenient place for cooking. This unique camping experience, available from £40 per night, allows campers to immerse themselves in the diverse habitat of the UK.

New for 2023, Blue Pool Camping will be introducing a Nature Observation Platform. This secluded location within the grounds of The Blue Pool offers a unique opportunity to connect with nature, observe local wildlife, and enjoy the tranquillity of the night sky. The platform, which sleeps 2+2, is available for £175 per night.

Since May this year, Blue Pool Camping started offering boutique bell tents and treehouses on The Furzebrook Estate. This small and exclusive five-acre site will consist of only ten fixed bell tents, providing a truly intimate and eco-friendly camping experience.

These top-of-the-range tents are erected on paddocks within the Furzebrook Estate, providing a spacious and comfortable camping experience. Each tent comes with an open fire pit and lanterns, enhancing the natural ambiance of the site.

The 6 Meter Bell Tent is suitable for a family of four, while the 5 Meter Bell Tent is perfect for two. Each tent is modestly furnished and comes with a table, chairs, and an outdoor seating area with a fire pit.

Please note that bedding and cooking utensils are not provided. Each pitch will have its own stand-alone long-drop composting toilet, fixed solar lighting, a lantern, and water supply. Parking is free for one car per pitch, with additional parking available upon request.
