Snowhill Glamping to Open in Lancashire on February 14 as Bookings Extend into 2026

Snowhill Glamping is set to open on February 14, 2025, introducing a new glamping and self-catering accommodation offering to the village of Scorton in Lancashire.

Located on Snow Hill Lane beneath Nicky Nook within the Forest of Bowland Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, the site has begun accepting bookings ahead of its launch, with reservations extending into 2026. Operators say early demand has been strong, particularly for peak summer periods.

A representative for Snowhill Glamping said interest has exceeded initial expectations. “The response has been absolutely overwhelming,” the representative said.

“We knew there was demand for quality glamping experiences in Lancashire, but the level of interest before we’ve even opened our doors demonstrates just how much people are craving these nature-based luxury escapes. We’re encouraging anyone planning a summer getaway to book sooner rather than later.”

Snowhill Glamping will offer a mix of glamping pods and self-contained apartments, according to The Lancashire Post

According to promotional information released ahead of the opening, both accommodation types will include private outdoor spaces and hot tubs, alongside standard amenities such as heating, electricity, and private bathroom facilities. The site has been designed to balance guest privacy with views across the surrounding countryside.

Members of the Snowhill team have described the concept behind the development as “a retreat for relaxation and connection with nature.” One team member said, “Snowhill has been created to give guests a place to exhale—to slow down, reconnect, and enjoy nature with a touch of luxury.”

The site’s location within the Forest of Bowland places it close to established walking and cycling routes, as well as nearby villages and local businesses.

Beyond accommodation, Snowhill Glamping has announced its involvement in a six-week wellness initiative known as the “WORK FOR IT” series, delivered in collaboration with fitness coach Luke Beastall and hair transformation specialist Danny Richo.

The programme combines fitness training and lifestyle coaching, concluding with a 10-kilometre run, and is intended to make use of the surrounding landscape as part of the experience.

The opening of Snowhill Glamping reflects continued growth in the UK glamping sector, which has expanded as travellers increasingly seek short breaks and outdoor-focused stays within the country.

Lancashire has seen a rise in similar developments in recent years, supported by its accessibility from major urban centres including Manchester, Liverpool, and Preston.

For outdoor hospitality operators, the early booking activity at Snowhill highlights the importance of pre-opening marketing, social media engagement, and diversified offerings such as wellness partnerships.

It also underlines ongoing consumer demand for accommodation that combines private facilities, year-round comfort, and a rural setting. Snowhill Glamping Ltd was incorporated on January 20, 2025, and is expected to contribute to the local visitor economy through guest spending in nearby pubs, shops, and attractions.

Snowhill Glamping will open to guests on February 14, 2025. Bookings are currently being accepted through the business’s website and selected third-party platforms.
