Go Power! | Dometic Marks 30 Years with 30,000-Tree Reforestation Initiative

Go Power! | Dometic, a provider of mobile power solutions in North America, has launched its first reforestation and habitat restoration initiative, marking the company’s 30th anniversary.

The program includes the planting of 30,000 trees and kelp strands across multiple land and marine restoration sites.

The project is designed to offset carbon emissions, equating to the annual removal of 112 cars from the road, while supporting the recovery of ecosystems affected by wildfires, deforestation, and rising ocean temperatures.

According to a press release, Eva Mitic, marketing director at Go Power!, said the initiative reflects the company’s commitment to sustainability. “We’re incredibly proud of this initiative,” Mitic said.

Go Power! is collaborating with long-standing dealers and original equipment manufacturers to establish dedicated forests and recognize shared environmental goals. Selected partners will receive gifts of tree plots throughout the year as a token of appreciation for their contributions to the company’s success.

Planting locations include British Columbia, Swale Lake in Alberta, Greater Sudbury in Ontario, and coastal areas in developing nations. Mitic emphasized the symbolic and strategic value of the effort.

“As we celebrate 30 years of Go Power!, we wanted to start by giving something meaningful back. Planting 30,000 trees is our way of setting the tone for the year ahead. It’s a starting point that reflects our values and a commitment we plan to grow well beyond this anniversary.”

The initiative incorporates a live dashboard in partnership with Veritree, allowing partners and customers to track the environmental impact in real time at https://impact.veritree.com/gopowersolar.

Go Power! has sold more than 1.5 million solar panels and provides solar kits, batteries, inverters, and accessories for RV, fleet, and off-grid applications.

Now part of Dometic Mobile Power Solutions, the company continues to focus on sustainable energy solutions for North American and international markets.

The anniversary program demonstrates a broader corporate effort to link business milestones with measurable environmental contributions, combining terrestrial and marine ecosystem restoration strategies.

The initiative’s combination of tree planting and kelp restoration aims to support biodiversity, enhance carbon capture, and promote long-term ecological resilience in both local and global contexts.
