The Canadian Camping & RV Council (CCRVC) is still accepting scholarship nominations as the Canadian Outdoor Hospitality Conference & Expo draws near.
Campgrounds or individuals can nominate anyone that they would like for a scholarship to attend the conference and expo happening on March 8-10, Cara Csizmadia, the association’s member services coordinator, told Modern Campground. Those applying or nominated for the scholarship must be CCRVC members.
“We’d review any of those scholarship nominations and decide on a case-by-case basis, how to fit those in,” Csizmadia shared.
As of the time of writing, CCRVC has not yet issued a scholarship deadline.
The Canadian association is offering scholarships to help those who wish to attend the virtual conference but require assistance.
“I think it’s a good opportunity to just make the education content [of the conference] more accessible across the board,” she added.
The scholarships to be given are limited, and applying or nominating someone does not guarantee they will receive one, an announcement on its website reads. Those selected for the scholarship will receive one free ticket to the Canadian Outdoor Hospitality Conference & Expo and will only be valid for the 2022 virtual show.
The 2022 Canadian Outdoor Hospitality Conference & Expo from March 8 to 10 was produced through a partnership with CampCon. As per a press release, the virtual event will allow the entire country to come together as one in a national trade show.
