Hudson’s Hope, the third oldest European community in British Columbia (Canada), is opening a new campground tomorrow, July 8, with its rich history and sites of fossils and dinosaur footprints, it is surely a good place to disconnect and relax.
Located 7 km south of Hudson’s Hope off Hwy. 29 just before Dinosaur Lake, Dinosaur Lake ATV Campground offers 13 dry sites, outhouses, fire pits, ATV trail access, and more.
The rustic adventure offers a variety of ATV trails and access to Crown Land. The campground is also close to Dinosaur Lake, which offers fishing and boating opportunities that families can enjoy.
According to the Hudson’s Hope website, residents can purchase a Season Camping Pass at the District Office and receive a discount when making online reservations.
Camping fees are CA$20.00 per night for the first unit, while additional units on the same site are CA$15.00 per night.
Dinosaur Lake is Hudson’s Hope’s fourth campground. Hudson’s Hope offers various camping opportunities that people of all ages can enjoy.
Each campground provides different outdoor adventures and activities. Municipal campgrounds include Cameron Lake, Alwin Holland, and King Gething Park.
In a previous Modern Campground report, the opening of Dinosaur Lake ATV Campground is anticipated to reduce illegal camping on vacant Crown land, like Geddes Bay near Williston Lake.
