The British Columbia Lodging and Campgrounds Association (BCLCA) announced that registration is now open for its annual “Lodging and Camping Ideas Forum,” set to take place November 4 to November 6 at Manning Park Resort. The event offers campground and lodging operators the opportunity to network, share ideas, and gain insights into industry trends.
The forum, designed for BCLCA members and guests, is supported by sponsors and suppliers to provide a learning experience. Attendees will have the chance to engage with industry sponsors, exhibitors, and peers while connecting with the BCLCA volunteer board of directors.
“The Ideas Forum is designed to provide BCLCA members and guests with a learning opportunity thanks to our sponsors and exhibitors,” BCLCA’s Dogwood Express Newsletter stated.
This year’s event is sponsored by WorkSafeBC, Signature Risk, Rona, Western Financial Group, First Data, and Pathfinder Ventures. The forum will include a range of activities, including property tours, educational sessions, and networking opportunities.
The event begins on Monday, November 4, with tours of Burnaby Cariboo RV Park and Sunshine Valley Resort near Hope before checking in at Manning Park Resort. Attendees will be provided with refreshments, lunch, and dinner throughout the day.
On Tuesday, November 5, participants will take a morning tour of Manning Park Resort before engaging in the first five Ideas Forum sessions. The day also includes a tabletop trade show, breakfast, lunch, dinner, and the BCLCA Annual General Meeting.
The final day, Wednesday, November 6, will feature five more educational sessions, concluding the forum at 2:00 p.m. Breakfast and lunch will be provided.
Speakers at the event will address key issues affecting the day-to-day operations of campgrounds and lodging businesses. The Ideas Forum is designed to help BCLCA members and guests connect with industry experts, discuss emerging trends, and explore solutions to common challenges.
