Hipcamp Canada Offers Alternative for Outdoor Enthusiasts

British Columbia (Canada) has infinite places to discover, but making reservations or finding accommodation can be challenging.

As per a report, Hipcamp provides B.C. residents a choice to go beyond traditional camping, from treehouses to cabins.

Hipcamp is the most comprehensive resource for unique outdoor stays where outdoor enthusiasts can discover and book tent camping, RV parks, cabins, treehouses, and glamping—everywhere from national parks to blueberry farms.

In May 2020, B.C. Parkscamping reservation website was down just after the system began accepting reservations. However, for the 2022 camping season that starts on March 21, B.C. Parks will be opening a new reservation system, which will provide more flexible search options, handy maps, calendars, and lists of available sites for quicker navigation.

Another option for campers is Hipcamp Canada. The company hopes to offer outdoor enthusiasts a new alternative.

On Hipcamp’s website, visitors can make reservations for all kinds of outdoor accommodations, including treehouses, cabins, camping in R.V.s or tents, and glamping.

“We have farmers, vineyards, cottages, they have rural outdoor land,” said Hipcamp Canada GM Tegh Singh Bedi. “It enables hosts to open up their land and invite people onto their land.”

Bedi said business in B.C. has seen a surge in activity since Hipcamp began its operation last year, which has made it the second-busiest market in Canada.

“There’s just not enough supply to meet all of the demand, especially in our big summer weekends.”

The summer is likely to be busy. Bedi said that more hosts sign up and list their properties.

“We are here to help support all types of outdoor travel,” he said.
